How to use Yoni Sauna Steams
For a relative guide, you can use, 2 liters of water with 2-4 teaspoons of the herbal blends. Find yourself a cozy spot to sit or you can use a sitz bath over the toilet. While you’re beginning a ritual of pouring your love, prayer, and intention into the water and herbs while massaging them with your hands for a few minutes. Visualize the healing and nourishment your feminine body needs, as you inhale the fresh herbs.
Bring your herbs+water to boil. Simmer on the stove for 10-15min. This will bring out more of the essential oils in the plants. Be careful when you sit not to burn the sensitive tissues of your yoni! You will probably need to let it steam off for a few moments before you can sit over it. It should be 100% comfortable and soothing. Allow the steam to permeate your skin for 20-40 minutes. Make sure you wrap yourself closely so all the heat stays inside to give you a full sauna experience. Afterward, discard the herbs and move to a warm bed, stay warm, drink some herbal tea and relax. Repeat 2-3 times monthly, before and after your menstrual cycle or as needed.
Although you can steam at any time of the day, it is best to steam at night right before bed. Keep in mind that steaming is a body detoxification that might make you feel very relaxed or tired afterward. For this reason, sleeping after a vaginal steam session can be deeply rewarding.

+ Do NOT steam when you are actively bleeding. You can however steam the day after the last day of your period to help move out any remaining blood. Steaming in the week leading up to your period can help with cramps and other menstrual complaints. But never steam when you’re actively menstruating. If you are prone to heavy bleeding, it is recommended to wait to steam until your cycle is more regulated, as steaming increases circulation to the pelvis, which could result in more bleeding.
